Granola is a staple breakfast option, so here is a granola recipe created using our crunchy Crispy Hearts. This granola can be eaten on its own, enjoyed with milk or milk alternative, put on top of pancakes, turned into granola bars and much much more. This is a great versatile option to be enjoyed in the morning or throughout the day.

Ingredients

2 packs of OatWell™ Crispy Hearts
120g oats
30g pumpkin seeds
20g desiccated coconut
50g crushed walnuts
35g crushed hazelnuts
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
pinch of salt
45ml maple syrup
55ml coconut oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F, and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Next, combine all of the dry ingredients in one bowl, including the OatWell™ Crispy Hearts.
Then, combine all of the wet ingredients into another bowl. This bowl will contain vanilla extract, maple syrup and coconut oil.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry, and combine thoroughly, ensuring the mixture is evenly coated.
Scatter the mixture onto your baking tray, and place in oven for 7 minutes.
Gently give the tray a shake, turning over your mixture, and place back in oven to cook for a further 7 minutes.
Leave to cool slightly, before enjoying with milk, yoghurt or whatever you wish.
Store in an airtight container, and consume within 7-10 days.
